Welcome to our website. It's pretty sparse right now, but getting built day by day. As little as I know about blogs, turns out I knew less about websites. Meta this and that, hosting, DNS, SEO, WTF? Just winging it. Bear with me please.
I figure I'll just start with the story of how I got to the point of starting this website.
I graduated from Milwaukee Trade and Technical HS in 1990 with a Machine Shop diploma. Since then, my machining career has led to making everything from production parts to stamping dies to molds. From tiny intricate parts that weigh an ounce or 2 to weldments and castings that were over 25 feet long and weighed over 20 tons. My career took me to doing more difficult and intricate work, and by 2001 I was running a shop that did complex 3D machining and prototyping for medical devices and MRI machines.
In 2005 I traded in my '94 Wide Glide for the 2004 VRSCB above. Of course, like any Harley rider, I was driven to customize it and make it my own. Problem was, there were virtually NO aftermarket parts for it. So I did what I do - machined my own. After posting a pic of what I made, people contacted me asking to make them some parts for their V-Rods. Pretty soon I was making caps, covers, and parts to the point that in 2006 I bought a CNC mill, put it in my garage, and did it for a hobby. I have been making parts mostly for V-Rods since then, except for a few bumps in the road like the aftermath of being assaulted by a turtle, but that's a whole 'nother blog post.
I started building this part machining into a regular business with a dickhead thief of a "partner" (another bump in the road) just before the Harley 110th back in September 2013. Didn't work out, but I got a ton more organized and really streamlined the order system, design process, and manufacturing methods. I am at the point that I believe I can make truly individualized custom parts for V-Rods and Twin Cam Harleys better, faster, and more efficiently than just about anyone.
So now it's time to get this show on the road and see if I can or if I'm just full of shit.
Thanks for spending the time to read my bluster. Please contact me if there's anything you see on the site that you'd like or if there's anything we can do for you.
